In 2006 Arkhangelsk PPM increased net profit thrice - up to 905 mln. rub. if compared to 2005 according to the Russian Accounting Standards.
APPM's sales proceeds have grown by 11,3% or up to 10,971 bln. rub., profit from sales - by 72% up to 2,029 bln. rub., profit before taxation came up to 1,272 bln. rub. that is 2,3 times increase, EBITDA - by 57,4% up to 2,424 mln. rub.
Main reason of the sales proceeds growth is tightly connected with price rise on the Company's products both on the domestic and international markets, though the Company's production output of main product groups increased less than by 1%.
Besides abolishment of export duties on hardwood pulp and kraftliner has resulted in growth of export revenue as well. In 2006 28,5% of the Company's revenue accounted for export sales. In money terms export revenue grew by 0,4% - up to $107,7 mln.
In 2006 the mill produced 251,8 thsd. t. of pulp, 476 thsd. t. of containerboard, 81,4 thsd. t. of paper. The Company's containerboard market share equals to 30% from total Russian market.
