Àrkhangelsk PPM may hope on the state support

The Government committee on increase of stability of the Russian economy included OJSC "Arkhangelsk PPM" into the list of 5 enterprises of the forest complex for the state support.
On December 25, 2009 the site of the Government of the RF placed the list of corestone enterprises approved by Committee on increase of stability of the Russian economy with Igor Shuvalov at the Head. The list consists of 295 enterprises, which may hope for the state support in various forms.
The Ministries will create working groups to provide regular monitoring of the financial and economic situation. By results of monitoring, the Working group will approve either the plan on the Company.s improvement or the decision to continue monitoring.
Inclusion of the enterprise into the list is not the guarantee of financial support. Main objective of the work with such companies is support of their stability using other measure than credits, for instance, state guarantees, financing of interest rates, restructuring of the tax arrears, government contractual work, customs-and-tariffs policy, etc. Besides, the Government will minimize all negative social and economic consequences of closures of such enterprises.
